The Role of Intercessors in Revival (Part I)

Image
Why Prayer is the Key to Revival… In many Western nations, faith is on the decline. Churches are struggling, and an increasing number of people are walking away from their faith, especially the millennials. But throughout history, revival has always been preceded by one key factor: prayer. If we want to see a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our communities, workplaces, and schools, we must take our place as intercessor spiritual warriors standing in the gap for this generation. What is an Intercessor? An intercessor is someone who prays on behalf of others, calling on God to intervene in their lives. Staying Steadfast in Prayer: A Reflection on Philippians 4:4-7

Image
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with  thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God,  Philippians 4:6 NKJV. In Philippians 4:4-7, Paul encourages us to “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”   This passage of scripture reminds us of the power and peace found in prayer. Life can often feel overwhelming, and it's easy to become anxious about the uncertainties we face. But Paul teaches us that prayer is our pathway to peace.  What have you petitioned God for in 2025 in prayer?  Through prayer and thanksgiving, we can release our worries and rest in God’s presence. Knowing that God will answer us in H...

Standing Guard Against the Spirit of Affliction Scripture : He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds, you have been healed . – 1 Peter2:24 (ESV) As I approached 2025, I began seeking the Lord about 2025. He revealed that the Spirit of Affliction will attempt to infiltrate the body of Christ. This tactic of the enemy is designed to distract, discourage, and divide believers from their God-ordained purpose. But we must remember, affliction is not of God. It is a scheme to shift our focus from His promises and healing power. 1 Peter 2:24 reminds us that Jesus already bore our sins and afflictions on the cross. His sacrifice was complete, and through His wounds, we are healed—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. This truth is our foundation when the enemy attempts to sow affliction. Now, more than ever, the call for warriors and watchmen is urgent. We must remain vigilant on the wall, standing firm in pra...
