We Are the Fragrance of Christ

“But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.” – 2 Corinthians 2:14 Over the past few weeks, I’ve been on a personal journey—studying words that capture my attention, whether in Scripture or through a song. This week, I caught myself humming the lyrics, “God is like the fragrance after the rain.” That line stirred something in me. I became curious— Is the word “fragrance” found in the Bible? My search led me to 2 Corinthians 2 , and what I discovered shifted my entire perspective on that one simple word: fragrance . Have you ever walked into a room and instantly noticed a scent—something sweet, refreshing, or inviting? Fragrance has a way of capturing attention. It lingers. It speaks.
